intro to hvac/refrigeration for emerging building engineers

Are you a trainable problem solver who likes to work with your hands? If you are, consider becoming a building engineer. It's a great career that many people have never heard of and the pay and opportunities are great.

The Washington Building Engineering Consortium, the Construction Industry Training Council of Washington (CITC), and Emerald Cities Collaborative Seattle are co-hosting a FREE, customized Introduction to HVAC/Refrigeration training course in Fall/Winter 2018 to those who qualify. Two classes will be offered: Cohort #1 starts Nov. 7th at CITC in Bellevue. Cohort #2 starts Nov. 12th at System Mechanical and Safety Solutions in Seattle.

This training will deliver basics for the field of building engineering. Those attending will meet hiring managers and leaders in the field, visit Class A facilities managed by diverse engineers, and get information about entry-level jobs at leading property/asset management companies.

Even if you have little or no trade experience, you are encouraged to learn more and apply formally.

Building Operator Certification 1

Are you ready move forward in your building engineering career? Are you eager to use the latest techniques to make your building more comfortable and energy efficient?

You are invited to apply for a seat in a dedicated, customized Building Operator Certification 1 (BOC1) training, co-hosted by Washington Building Engineers, the Northwest Energy Efficiency Council, and Emerald Cities Collaborative Seattle. This unique eight-week program will be offered free-of-charge in Fall/Winter 2018 to those who qualify.
